As of today the save button no longer allows one to save their ranking systems (this worked fine last night prior to the update). Please fix this when you have a chance.
Thank you.

Just tried it and it works. Please provide more details: operating system, browser, steps…
Thanks
Windows 8.1, Google Chrome, hit save and nothing happens. This happened after I received an error message stating that I could not see my ranking factors unless I upgraded to a higher membership level, which makes no sense.
Thank you for the help.
Scott
Can you reproduce it on your end at will ? Did you make changes then waited a long time to save ? maybe you got logged out…
Thanks
Yes. I can reproduce this at will both on my laptop and with my ipad. It is happening on a stock ranking system which is under a conditional node. If I add another node outside of the conditional node then it gives me the option to save (otherwise the save button has a faded rather than its black appearance and does not work). The save button works fine on other ranking systems which are not under a conditional node. Therefore this could be a problem with the conditional node.
When I try to update and then save a ranking system under a conditional node today I get the message " internal error. please contact system administrator ". The ranking system will not save. This may be a problem with the conditional node. Please fix this.
Thank you.

Still cannot reproduce this - Which ranking system are you seeing the error on?
thanks
ted
I had a similar issue happen when I tried to save a public ranking system. When I clicked on the “save as” link, nothing happened. I’m using Windows 7 with Chrome browser.
Ted,
I can save the system if I limit the number of characters under the conditional node however when I place a longer string of characters under this node (approximately 250+) then I get the error message and it will not save. Is there a limit to the number of characters that I can place under this node? And if so is there a way around this?
Thank you
Scott
I attempted to save the ranking system under the name test for ted but it would not save the additional characters.

are you using the ranking system text editor or editing a node with the floating node properties window?
ted
Ted,
I am using the floating node properties window.

Just can’t reproduce the issue here - can you email me the offending text that you are trying to enter?
thanks
ted
hi All,
I am facing more or less the same issue here. I am working on a MacBook Pro, Mac OS Mojave 10.14.2, browsers Chrome / Safari / Firefox.
When I open one of my own ranking systems (admins - e.g.: TexasBull_Canada_Allcap_2018), change the weights, the save button which was greyed out before becomes black. When I click it, nothing happens.
The same (nothing) happens when I click on the little gear symbol next to the ranking system title and click on save.
p.s. I already tried to whitelist the P123 URL in the Java settings of the Mac, but this did not change anything.
Thanks for your help and support!
Ralph
Is the ranking system using by a DM? P123 will quietly ignore updates in that case.
Walter
Hi Walter, what it a DM? Thanks, Ralph
DM=Designer Model
hi Walter, no, I don’t have any DM’s right now.
Hi Ralph - Haven’t been able to reproduce this. I’ll try and see if I can tonight (if my old iMac allows me to upgrade to mojave)
Are you making any modifications before changing the weights? Or is that the first/only thing you’re doing when you’re seeing this problem?
Thanks
ted
Ted,
I’m on Mojave and w/ Chrome, and I don’t see the problem. I can change weights, hit update and then save and everything is hunky-dory.
Walter
