AUTO Re-balancing ERROR in this morning's re-balances

Hey guys,

Got a bunch of AUTO re-balancing ERRORs in my live portfolios this morning. Seems to be random and happened in about 20-30% of my live ports across different strategies. The ERROR message in the email is;

QPULSE: Consumer Staples - top 25 20201121
An ERROR occurred while rebalancing: Connection has already been closed.
QPULSE: Consumer Staples - top 25 20201219
An ERROR occurred while rebalancing: Connection has already been closed.
QPULSE: Enhanced Dividend Yield - Top 10 - 20200119
An ERROR occurred while rebalancing: Connection has already been closed.

Any ideas what’s going on?

FYI - not an isolated incident.

I have the same issue on many (but not all) of my live strategy ports.

Hello, indeed there are some issues that we’re working on solving ASAP.

We had to rerun the live strategy auto rebalance process (problems occurred randomly so we couldn’t do it selectively), we apologize for the extra e-mail.

Is there any way to get an email the way the original email would have been with all the actual re-balances in the email? I usually cut and paste the html in the mail to a website to record all the re-balances. The extra email sent after you re-ran the auto-rebalance process just shows all the strategies with NO NEW RECOMMENDATIONS.

Sorry for the delay, turns out only those ports that didn’t have new transactions failed, so you can use the first e-mail and assume “Connection has already been closed” = No transactions.

Are any factset data updates delayed til Tuesday on these Monday holidays?

There is no delay; FactSet updates are still performed on weekends and holidays.
