Institutional money flow

Is there a reliable way to track institutional money flow into and out of a particular stock by analyzing volume in P123?

I know Investors Business Daily does this and provides a weekly/monthly report.

Its far better than waiting on quarterly filings.

Thanks
Tony

Check out our institutional factors and functions. They’re really rich and there’s a lot to choose from. Just go to the factor and function reference (https://www.portfolio123.com/doc/doc_factors.jsp) and click on Fundamentals, then Other Fundamentals, then Insider and Institutional. To check out institutional money flow in particular you might want to look at InstNetPurch.

I use Inst%Own/Inst%OwnPQ

Thanks Yuval/Judge. I was looking for something a little more recent (daily) and I suspect the only way to do it is to analyze volume under the premise that large swings in volume are attributed to institutional activity. Was just curious if someone had already worked that out.
