Asscount setup "equal allocation"

Hi there,

I have set up a paper account folowing a certain strategy of an outside model.
it is very simple but can’t seem to set it up properly:

I want to set up a portfolio of approx. 20 stocks, equal amount.
Invest $100,000

As time goes by, I want to buy new stocks and sell old stocks. The portfolio should always stay equally invested among holdings (100,000 in the beginning), but sometimes the number of holdings changes, it is not always 20 stocks, it could be 17 or 22 or whatever. Therefore rebalancing after a new stock is bought and old ones sold but not exceeding portfolio capital.

How do I do that? Can’t seem to do it (does not rebalance when adding new stock).

Thanks.
Werner

Open a new strategy using the “custom allocation” option. After entering your tickers, select “Set Equal Weights.” When you want to close a position and/or open a new one, use the “adjust allocation” button (on the “summary” page). After doing that, you’d press “rebalance.” Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Yuval,
thanks for you quick answer.
Will try that now.

Werner
