Is the Trello board still active?

In particular, there were some issues with estimates including fx conversions and split/dividend adjusted prices in historical estimates. Were these issues fixed yet? The Trello board says that they were not yet fixed.

Oh yes, it’s very active indeed. In fact, Aaron cleaned it up considerably today. There were a huge number of cards (mostly in the DONE column) that have now been archived.

Thanks, looking forward! Do you have an estimate (no pun intended) for when those will be done? They are holding up my backtesting.

FX conversions are already being done; let us know if you think something’s wrong there.

We’re nearly able to release the mechanism which works sufficiently well to adjust for cash-equivalent dividends. FactSet’s documentation states that their estimates are adjusted “for all corporate actions including dilutions, splits, reverse splits, spin-offs, exceptional dividends, and rights issues.” Since we don’t have a good way to determine the adjustment factor, we’ll be using cash-equivalent dividends in a best effort toward reversing out any exceptional adjustments historically. You can expect the aforementioned changes in production by next week.

Thanks!

It looks like an adequate solution hasn’t been reached by the changes that were made. We’ll keep looking for a way to compensate for FactSet’s adjustments to EPS estimates.
