I have just tried to use RatingPos and no matter what I do the sim will not run, It complains that I’m referencing the main rating system even if it’s one of mine.
I have the feeling that it must be something I’m doing wrong but I just can’t see what it is.
Is the Rating system the same as what you have selected as your ranking system? If so then you have to use RankPos, not RatingPos.
I tried it out and the only way I was able to get an error was (as InspectorSector said) if the ranking system selected on the Universe & ranking tab is the same one used in the RatingPos line on the Buy or Sell rules tabs. Then I get the message “RatingPos() is referencing the main ranking system. Use ‘RankPos’ instead.”. Is that the error you are getting?
My suggestion would be to change the main ranking system on the Rank screen and rerun it to see if you still get the error. If no error, then change it back to your original ranking system and try running it again. And be sure there is no RatingPos rule on either the Buy or Sell tabs that uses the same ranking system that you have on the Universe and Ranking tab.

Weird. I made no changes and ran it today to generate the error message and it worked perfectly.
