Problem with MTCH

P123 staff - MTCH was spun off from IAC yesterday. MTCH was already listed but for some reason P123 has changed the name to MTCH.5^20 and introduced a new MTCH.

The problem is as follows:

I have a screen that displays MTCH.5^20. The screen is:

https://www.portfolio123.com/app/screen/summary/229082?st=1&mt=1

The screen’s custom universe traces back to an InList where MTCH is called up. The InList is located here:

https://www.portfolio123.com/mylists_edit.jsp?type=LIST&uid=26193

Within the InList, MTCH was never converted to MTCH.5^20. It is still listed as MTCH. However the screen that calls up the InList is displaying
MTCH.5^20.

I see two problems here. (1) MTCH was not converted to MTCH.5^20 within the InList. (2) The screen does not match what is in the InList.

Please help!

Steve

Here’s what I found:
*Miscellaneous has IAC which switched over to MTCH
**DataSearch has MTCH which switched over to MTCH.5^20

Aaron - you are a brave nab to wade into my stuff. I have MTCH called up in both InLists. But MTCH doesn’t show up in the screener. I also tried adding a new ticker in each InList and they don’t make it into the screen. Is it possible that I have reached some limitation with formulae and InLists, or do I have a caching issue?

Steve

Aaron - MTCH appears in the screen now. I am going to write this off as a caching issue of some sort. Thanks again for your help.
Steve

You should also be aware that we don’t yet have the necessary implementation in place to properly handle this change, so using MTCH is going to stop working altogether shortly. It is one of our current priorities for proper FactSet support. We’ll keep you updated on the issue if we find an interim solution.

Aaron - MTCH was already trading, the parent company IAC eliminated its holding in MTCH. So I don’t understand the issues and why the original MTCH was retired. Anyways, good luck with this one.I would like to keep MTCH in my portfolios so I hope you can at least keep the price series going.

MTCH still shows up in one of my ports. But it does not show up in this screen anymore. https://www.portfolio123.com/app/screen/summary/229082?st=1&mt=1

I don’t care if there are fundamentals associated with this stock but I do care whether it shows up in the screen. Please fix.

Thanks
Steve

You’ll have to set the Starting Universe of “Digital Transformation Universe” to “All Stocks - USA” to make it work for now since the new MTCH has no fundamental data on FactSet. There is still ongoing discussion and research for solutions to this problem.

It works with All Stocks and an InList as a rule.
