I read the sticky but after trying the new site, it still has the same old industry classifications. What exactly is the difference with new GICS and RBICS industry and how can I backtest those?
You can’t yet test the new industry classifications in terms of Pr52W%ChgInd or similar functions, nor can you see how a stock compares to others in its industry. We’re implementing those changes shortly. Right now all you can do is actually check out the new industry classifications in screens, ranking systems, etc. with RBICS(), RBICS.Sector, RBICS.Subsector, RBICS.Industry, and RBICS.Subindustry.
