can not move sims between folders

Dear P123,

I was playing around my sims and realized that i can not move the sims to another folder. After going through ABOUT ->EDIT->Change category->update, it still does not work.

can you help?

Thanks for letting us know about this. Until this is fixed, you can still reassign an item’s category by clicking the 4x2 dots to the left of it and dragging to the intended category in the folder view.

Along the same line, there is an error I flagged several years ago and it is still there:

To reproduce:

  1. do some work with simulations in a folder of your choice /OldFolder
  2. create another folder somewhere else /NewFolder (or even as a subfolder of /OldFolder)
  3. Create a new sim from inside /NewFolder

→ the field “category” (where the new sim will be saved by default) is /OldFolder. It should be /NewFolder
