Improvements to the ETF platform are overdue

Hello P123 team.

More than 4 years have passed since Marco posted this in regard to the proposed hedging module for ETFs:

We can get this done quickly simply by:

1- allowing hedging for ETF system only with indices (the drop-down changes a bit)
2- keep the same interface but throw an error if the hedge is also a position

But nothing has happened to this date. It appears that P123 is not interested to improve the ETF platform on P123. Not even a simple screening rule like Assets Under Management is available for ETFs (similar to MktCap for stocks).

Other platforms like Chaikin Analytics seem to have much better ETF capabilities than P123. Marc Gerstein is aware of this as well and is promoting this platform with his many blogs on ACTI-QUANT. https://actiquant.com/category/etfs/

You can read his recent October 2019 Blog “Searching For Interesting Unsung ETFs” where he says the following:
" I’ll go into the Chaikin Analytics ETF screener and start with the basic “default” settings that appear when the tool is initially opened …"

So please P123, when can we get some action to improve our ETF platform with at least some easy to implement features?

This gets my up-vote. Hedging for ETF systems is long overdue.

It’s in the works. I can’t promise when it’ll be implemented, but we’ll get it done.
