Highlighting changes in screen output

I’m running a weekly screen that results in about 50 stocks. Is there a straightforward way to identify the changes (additions and deletions) in the output week to week? Thanks again for any assistance.

Without doing a rebal to rebal compare then the only way I know of is to look at the header on the results and you’ll see a “New Pos” and “Sold Pos”. That at least gives you an idea of the turn over rate of the screen backtest.

Getting the stocks that made the cut last week but don’t this week can’t be done reliably. The problem is that the results from last week might have changed due to data corrections, so it’s not as simple as running with last week’s as-of date.

The easiest way that I could think to do it would be to download the current holdings and last week’s holdings and compare them in Excel. Well, really the easiest way to do all of this is to upgrade Portfolio123 and use a strategy instead of a screen…

Thanks, I guess I’ll continue with excel until I can afford to upgrade!
