I get an error message that says Error in Buy Rule ‘Buy12’: Error near ‘�Close’: Invalid command ‘�Close’ This type error started appearing recently in simulations. Runs OK in a screen.

It worked for me. Did you copy/paste the rule from elsewhere? Where is that peculiar character in front of ‘Close’ coming from?

Thanks Walter but still not working for me. That peculiar character, I think, refers to the “ sign but that quote sign has to be there for the formula to function. It doesn’t matter whether I copy and paste or write it in directly. Still doesn’t work. Anybody at P123 that can help?
Try to re-type the formula in P123. Don’t type it into Word and then copy and paste.
Same result. Same error message.
I have a different sim that has been running awhile with the same rule. It works fine. Just can’t get the new sim to run. Very confusing!

You were using some kind of weird double `` character instead of the standard double quote ". I corrected it and ran it in place (I needed to test it anyway), so your results are in your account.
Thank you, Paul. The only thing I can think is that my keyboard started transmitting incorrect characters. At least I’ll know what to look at if it happens again.
