Bug: system changes regarding rebalances?

Hi P123

Did you recently implement a change in the way you are calculating book rebalances? I am receiving an abnormal amount of rebalancing trades today for many of my models that are probably related to the way the rebalancing/target weights are calculated.

Can you please elaborate what these changes were or why the books behave differently than expected?
e.g. https://www.portfolio123.com/book_rebalance.jsp?portid=1522779

Yes we did a new release to address some issues with rebalance in Invest. Your Live Book in Research is using -ve weights for an assets. It’s not something we supported even though it let enter it, and it worked fine for you up until now. We should have a fix soon. Thanks.

Hi Marco.

Thank you for the feedback. As I am rebalancing my trades daily (also quite some trading on Fridays), is there any chance for a super quick fix before market open? I am otherwise totally stuck as the issues significantly affect all my trading in all portfolios.

Thank you

A fix has been released, everything should be working fine now.

Hi Marco, hi Paul,

Are you sure the fix is live in general? Or did you just fix this for one particular portfolio? Today’s rebalances are still looking strange today. Could you please investigate?

Could you please urgently fix the bug:
For example, if I take live book: https://www.portfolio123.com/port_summary.jsp?portid=1526416

When I click Get Recommendations I am presented with a list of trades, which I all accept.
However, when I click Get Recommendations again, I get new trades again, which I also accept.
I can repeat the process several times and new trades show up all the time.

There is clearly a bug. Please resolve as I am stuck with my Thursday portfolio and need to trade.

Thanks for the feedback, looking into it.

Everything should be back to the way it was before, please let us know if you’re still experiencing problems. Please note that this only affected books that have short assets.
