New website is live

Dear Member,

We’re very excited to launch our redesigned website.

In the meantime you may wonder where all your systems and data are. You will find everything under the “Research” menu. In the new configuration “Research” is where your models are. The new “Invest” section is more closely associated with your real brokerage accounts, real trading and money.

We will follow up very soon with additional posts and emails detailing the many new features. Our priority of course is to make sure that everything you are used to doing is ok. Please let us know if you have any troubles.

We look forward to your feedback.

Really looking forward to everyone’s feedback. Enjoy the new Portfolio123!

it is not good at. I wish old one back !!!

Hi Hem,

It is very attractive. I have not noticed any differences under the hood for my uses.

I have commented before that RoboAdviser and some other things seem like a good idea—but this is really outside of my area of expertise.

Much Appreciated!!!

Congratulations on the progress. I can’t find a link to the forum from the main site without logging in. Is that on purpose going forward? The old site had a site map with direct links to many other pages as well.

Will you post instructions on how to fix code that accessed the website? Even the authentication seems to be failing.

Please tell me there is a way to make it look like the old website.

How does one add number of shares to a watch list?

Really nice looking – has a “lighter” feel and is better organized. I was a bit panicked when I couldn’t find my ports at first. But once I did (thanks to Marco’s post) everything was great!

You may want to post directions to existing ports in a more prominent place to avoid service calls on your end and panick on ours.

Looks good. Now to re-train to find everything. See that forums etc are under “CONNECT”

Are there new features as well as the new look?

Jim

very cool thank you p123 Team!!!

Bug report: there is a grey left side panel that appears on IE11 right after login (but not firefox). Cannot get rid of it…
See attachment

Thank you

Small suggestion with the copy. The first line feels weak;

We made stock investing simple
For novices and professionals

How about;
We make stock investing simple

Or;
Stock investing made simple

Hello Jmh

IE11 is currently not supported - do you have access to Microsoft Edge?

Ted

Hi Aaron,

I only use IE for scripting (as far as I know, the only browser I can easily use from VBA is IE but not Edge). In this case, it does not matter as this grey side-bar does not appear in the pages I need for portfolio holdings, transactions etc i.e. it does not create any problem for my scripting.

For manual browsing, I use firefox. So it does not bother me either.

In summary, not a show stopper for me either for manual or scripted.
Simply an issue you might want to keep in mind if you want to offer compatibility with IE11 at some point.

Thx

Jerome (jmh)

What is the browser that P123 supports and uses internally?

My scripting setup currently works on IE11 only.
I need some time to write new code to support different browser.

Thanks!

Seems like it takes an extra step to get from one screen to another. Might just be my aging brain! But if it does, is there a reason for it to be that way?

A suggestion I made previously for the new website → could you display more than just 4 posts in the “recent posts” panel on the right pls?
The old website had 6 and it is much better.

I am an avid reader of the forum and it saves me a lot of time to check if there is anything new!

Same for the “release feature” panel although not as key since features not released so often.
(currently 2 posts visible instead of 5 previously)

Thank you in advance

Jerome
(this is on a computer browser - I did not check the Android interface!)

Where did the fundamental charts go? The ones where I had saved charts with many different factors charted together like EBITDA, Price2Book, margin, etc?
