reinvestment of dividends

Say I have a 20 position portfolio of dividend paying stocks. How are the accumulated dividends allocated back in the portfolio?

a. based on the current best 20 stocks based on ranking
b. equally weighted on the 20 holdings.
c. some other method

I am using rankpos > 20 as the sell rule and no buy rules.

They go into the cash position. They are then “reinvested” as the portfolio invests in new positions. There is no reinvestment per se.
