Discrepancy between total return and CAGR on portfolio stats

My port has been live for since February 2018 (10 months).

It is showing the same total return as CAGR, which cannot be right.

This is a problem for the Summary and Statistics>Performance tabs. The Statistics>Risk Measurements tab is initially incorrect, but corrects itself upon selecting a different time period.

David,

Do not know if this helps (from Investopedia):

“The Global Investment Performance Standards dictate that returns of portfolios or composites for periods of less than one year may not be annualized. This prevents “projected” performance in the remainder of the year from occurring.”

Don’t know if that helps but since the returns are for less than a year it should not be CAGR and therefore should be the same as total return?

Thanks, Jim. That is good to know. But I think this is not the software’s intent.

Actually I also noticed that 2 days ago and I do not think it was like this before. I think it has changed recently - possibly as an undesirable side-effect of another change.
Either way it is misleading

Thanks David, Do not mean to take up space with something that may be off subject. I will learn more about this when P123 replies.

I’ve corrected it for tonight’s update. Sorry for any inconvenience.
