P123 Team,
Can I please request an update on the status of anticipated improvements to the TRADE module.
Based on earlier discussions, I expect that the changes will allow P123 user to basically write our trading algorithms using a much broader array of IB orders types and algos.
Is this accurate? What details are forthcoming?
This is a hot button for me as I currently spend more time and effort on execution than I’d like. For example, I am currently able to use IB’s API to edit MINOR details of orders from TRADE without breaking the link to the model. But the link will break if I want to do anything major such as change the order type, attach a conditional, slice up the order, change routing details, etc. I think it would go far smoother if I could do all of this upfront within TRADE.
