Requires more frequent logins

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I’m noticing a higher frequency of login requests than a previously over the past several days. I think I’ve had to log in 3 or 4 times so far today.

Notice this too sporadically, especially when using different wifi hotspots.

Be sure the “Keep me logged in” checkbox is always ticked. I notice that if I miss ticking this box, it asks me to log in much more frequently.

Do you see this only on the forums? I have an office that uses rotating IP addresses, the forum seems to think that should require a re-login. I can only browse the forums for a few minutes before I have to re-login. Incredibly annoying.

The rest of the site (ex-forum) seems to handle rotating IPs correctly.

Mike: I’ve disabled the check in the configuration so it will no longer be a problem for you once the server gets updated.

I haven’t noticed it much more since my initial post, but reflecting on it, I think it might be related to my site inactivity. Recently I was leaving the site open in my browser and maybe reading a conference call, looking up factor papers, trading, maybe cook supper  … In hindsight, I think it was probably related to my behavior because I’ve only noticed it a few times since in those scenarios.
