Is there any formula/function that allows you to identify stocks that are recent spin-offs, both parent and spin-off?

Don’t believe so. I think the closest you can get is #QPeriods = 1, but that would give you all new listings, not just spin offs.

We don’t have the data to indicate whether a new stock is an IPO, a spin-off, or just something that has entered the universe for some other reason.
