I seem to recall there was function allowing one to refer to another ranking system aside from the ranking system selected for the screener. I think it was called Rating; it wasn’t FRank. Has that command been removed or is my memory playing tricks on me?
It is still there and I just tried it: works in screens as well as sims and ports. Make sure to put the ranking system in quotes.
Example of a screen rule: Rating(“my ranking system”) > 90
Looking at your other post makes me think you may also want to use it in a universe. It cannot be used in universes.
In Reference Rating is called ‘Other Rank’.
Thanks. As davidbv has guessed, the Reference not showing it immediately but only bringing up Other Rank left me scratching my head.
The reference on Other Rank says:
"Returns the rank for the named Ranking System. You can specify one of your systems or a P123 system. Example:
Rating(“Momentum Value”)>80
NOTE: A maximum of 2 Rating() functions can be used for a request"
My question: What does “A maximum of 2 Rating() functions can be used for a request” mean? I have successfully screened using 3 ratings in the rules.
Looks like documentation rot. Marco increased the limit to 3 on December 28, 2012. I’ve updated the documentation to reflect that.
