You've seen what you can do using Portfolio123 in the U.S. and Canadian stock markets, but there are a lot more investment opportunities to be captured beyond those borders. Our goal is to eventually be a truly global platform that empowers users to pursue alpha wherever it may be found, and adding support for Europe is our next step toward realizing that goal.
If we reach the goal in pledges by December 31, 2020, we will commit to the project with a projected launch date of Q3 2021. You will be able to use your pledge, plus an additional 25% credit, towards any European data subscription.
FactSet coverage of Europe includes over 10,000 active stocks and 20 years of historical data.
We plan to do the project in three phases:
Stage 1
The British Pound currency universe will be added, including coverage for the United Kingdom.
Stage 2
The Euro currency universe will be added, including coverage for Austria, Belgium, Cyprus,
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia,Slovakia, Spain.
Stage 3
Other currency universes will be added, including coverage for Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Portfolio123 subscription will have an additional region. If only one region is selected (Europe or North America), the pricing will not change, but a subscription including both regions will increase by approximately 60%.
When will I be charged?
If this project is successfully funded, pledges will be billed on December 31, 2020.
Will I be charged if the goal is not reached?
No. If goal is not reached, no one pays anything.
What can others see about my pledge?
Only the aggregate data shown above is disclosed. Besides that, pledges are completely confidential.
When can I use my pledge?
Your pledge remains locked until the end of Q2 2021. You will then be able to use your pledge (plus an additional 25% credit) towards European data
subscriptions if they are available. Otherwise, you will be able to use it for any Portfolio123 membership.
How much should I pledge?
We suggest an amount equivalent to 60% of two years of your current membership cost. If you are not yet a member, we suggest a pledge of $3,200;
if you are a professional, we suggest a pledge of $5,400.
