Each referral (i.e., each purchase of a new subscription by one who has done so as a result of having accessed Portfolio123 from the special referral-url created by Portfolio123 for your use) shall be compensated on a one-time basis. Subject to provisions below regarding accrual and manner of payment, the amount of such compensation shall be computed as follows:

1. If the Referred Member initially purchases a monthly plan, the referral fee shall be equal to two monthly payments.
   
   
2. If the Referred Member initially purchases an initial special two-month plan, the referral fee shall be the two-month special price in full.
   
   
3. If the Referred Member initially purchases an annual plan, then the referral fee shall be one sixth (1/6) of the annual cost.
   
   

Payment will accrue and be made on a quarterly basis one month after the end of the fiscal period during which the referred member paid for the subscription. Compensation for referrals shall be initially credited towards payment of the Referring Member's Portfolio123 subscription obligation. (For purposes of this provision, Designer Model subscription fees and any additional data provider fees are not included in the calculation of the Portfolio123 subscription obligation) Cash payments shall be made if and to the extent that accrued referral compensation is $100 or more above the cost of the Referring Member's quarterly subscription or one-fourth (1/4) the cost of an annual subscription.
