Equity Issued is a line from the financing section of the cash flow statement that indicates the total cash funds received through the issuance of equity instruments created during the period selected with the type input.
This line includes the funds received from all avenues of equity creation; sales, conversions of convertibles and option activation are the primary methods. All equity instruments are included, including all equity share classes and all preferred share issues. Two actions are specifically excluded, though: Issuance of warrants and the sale of stock in subsidiary companies.
