Sector Weight calculates the weight of a specific sector as a percentage of the total market value within a portfolio. This metric reflects the proportion of the portfolio's market value invested in a particular sector.
Sector weight can only be used as part of a buy rule in a Strategy. It enforces sectoral allocation limits or targets, ensuring that the buying decisions align with the predefined sector weight criteria.
For example, SecWeight < 25 will prevent the purchase of stocks in a sector if the sector's current weight exceeds 25%.
SubsecWeight works for subsectors, while ETFSecWeight works for ETF categories.
