Change in Equity is a net item reflecting both issuance and retirement of equity instruments. It is positive when the company has issued more equity than it has retired over the period defined by the type input.
This line reflects all possible issuance or retirement of all equity instruments. It includes the issuance or retirement of all share classes, preferred stock and the exercise of options.
Note that this is an aggregate line. Users should be careful not to double account while using it.
