Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring problem .
Biggest problem for me is that estimates can flip to NA which causes a big drop in the ranking of the system I trade triggering sell recommendations that should not happen. Lost money already because of this.
Example: ELMD
CurFYEPSMean = NA but should be 0.18
I really hope this can be fixed soon.
Edit: Did not notice that topic starter posted this message last Saturday. I will post the ELMD issue in a separate thread as it could be unrelated.
So were the re-balance emails send out this morning before or after the earnings estimates were updated?
Scott
Rebalance was postponed till after the S&P maintenance this past weekend. ELMD is a different issue. Thanks
Since December there is an inconstancy in the #SPEPSCY: Calculated using the Current Year Consensus Estimates for the S&P500.
Please read a detailed analysis of this.

My Best(SPY-SH) model switches today from holding SH to SPY as a result of #SPEPSCY having increased from mid December 2015. #SPEPSCY is a weekly series. One can calculate this by using P123 custom series MySPEPSCY. Rebalancing daily and taking a moving average of 5 days, the series actually is declining not rising.
This inconsistency messes up all models which use #SPEPSCY. So one should take this into account for evaluating the current signals.
