Thanks to the efforts of Valueseeker (Ralph), a group of us got together (including Marc Gerstein) last night at Capital Grille in lower Manhattan. It was a great opportunity to share perspectives on the market, P123 strategy approaches and just meet new people with similar interests (and great steaks to boot!). Denny we missed you!

Sorry I missed also. I had eye surgery Tuesday and had to cancel my flight & hotel. I was looking forward to it. Eye is good now!
Yes, cyber communities are wonderful, but there is still something to be said for meeting people in person when possible. I think I recall that as Ralph was setting this up, some thought aloud about p123 gatherings in other cities. (I think I recall San Francisco having been mentioned.) I hope others do mention on the forum where they are located and explore get-togethers in other places.

of course! I would be glad to meet, as I am traveling before I will be available from August 1, preferably in Nuremberg (nice city with medieval town parts, a castle and 500,000 inhabitants, 1 hour and 15 minutes travel from Munich by train).
Let me know whether that would be fine with you. I would also send requests to some of the other German/Swiss/Austrian P123 members, perhaps some will be able to make it as well!

Hello Gents,
I think a German meeting is a splendid idea! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend, I will be in Vancouver the last week of July and the first weeks of August. But a great idea is always worth repeating, from my point of view, the next time in Frankfurt. It is after all, the banking center of Germany, and the location of the largest stock exchange in Germany. (And it’s home grounds for me.)
