Trade not a working order.

I used TRADE today before the market open and it is still not a working order, Scheduled Time 1970? Any thoughts?

Not working for me either.

Same here. Just had to cancel all of my orders set up in TRADE and submit them manually. This is the second time that it’s happened in the last three weeks.

Looks like our IB process is not connecting to their servers. It keeps logging off. Not sure how fast we can resolve.

To get your orders placed first delete them from TRADE then enter them directly with IB.

Note: scheduled time of 1970 is misleading, it’s means as soon as possible. It simply means a schedule was not set. We’ll fix it to say that.

I started using Trade last week and it worked perfectly. Two questions:

  1. Do we have to submit all orders manually or will this issue be fixed today?
  2. Can anyone share statistics about reliability (as in % of times working correctly)?

We canceled every scheduled order just in case.

It’s been pretty reliable. This one seems to be on their end.

Our FIX engine can’t get past the login. We’re on hold waiting for support

TRADE is back online now - if you entered trades earlier this morning - you’ll have to enter them again as they were removed to make sure they were not sent as duplicates when we went back online.

Any chance P123 could add 2 factor authentication to member log-in for extra security? For example:

TRADE requires a second password which must be entered every time you are trying to use it from a different location. It’s a pseudo two factor since there’s not a separate device, like sending a pin to a phone.

But there’s also a secret question to reset the password. Also, account numbers and passwords are encrypted in the database.

It’s not too bad we think. But sending PINs to phones would be nice and we hope to add it .
