StarMine ARM and Value Revision Rockets

I read the documentation of Kurtis’ Value Revision Rockets with great interest. I was particularly interested in the portion about StarMine ARM (Analyst Revision Model). After telling StarMine I invested for a pension fund (my SEP-IRA is probably a rounding error for most of their institutional investors) I was sent a copy of their white paper. There is no web link but perhaps I can forward the email or figure out how to put a link in Dropbox for those interested.

I would be interested in any thoughts from anyone.

My thoughts are this is the next step in Zanks Rank “upside” factor which claims to weigh the revisions of the most accurate analyst in its ranking system. StarMine adds a few things like revenue estimate revisions and gets rid of earnings surprises (which Zacks weighs in its rank).

StarMine has done extensive testing including foreign markets: works we’ll in Canadian markets.

I bet the data is expensive and I won’t even suggest that P123 look into buying it (Kurtis you already know about this I would guess).
