Marco mentioned in the thread on TCAP that investment trusts are ignored. I thought the data was just lost with the move to Compustat. Reuters had some but it wasn’t very good; really only the price could be relied on. Is it true that it is deliberately being stripped out?
I’d be a very happy man if I could get price, NAV, premium z-stat, distribution breakdown, EPS, UNII, debt, total assets for closed end funds. I wrote a program that gets it from various sources but it takes about a week to cycle.
Is there any way to make this available?
