Downloaded this morning and still only get all the results for the first 501 companies. Also still limited to 100/pp showing on the website. This means I will have to copy and paste 100 at a time into a spreadsheet until I get all 4700+ companies! C'mon, Marco, not asking for much here. At least increase the results per page options, even to 500(preferably to ALL) would be a help. Could I get a reply to my posts and/or e-mail? Thank you. |

Just chiming in that this service doesn't really work for me without the ability to download output into spreadsheet, be it the convenient way or 500 at a time (meaning if we have to do it piecemeal there needs to be enough daily downloads permitted to get it all). |

Sadly there does not seem to have been any progress on this issue. I can download 501 company's results at a time and can do five downloads (for a total of 2505 companies) before I get the dreaded "daily maximum" message. Then I have to copy the rest of the results 100 at a time(takes about 22 times to get the rest for me) from the site and paste into my spreadsheet until I get them all. It appears that increasing the number of downloads won't happen due to the agreement with stingy Compustat. However, if Marco would just make the simple adjustment on the site to allow ALL results to be displayed at one time(the current options from the drop down menu are 20/pp, 50/pp, and 100/pp) that would allow users to copy and paste the data without needing to download it. I have asked Marco about this many times in posts and also by e-mail over the past 7 DAYS. He must be very busy as I have not received ANY reply addressing this issue. Seems a very simple fix to increase the number of results per page viewable on the site. Even an increase to 500/pp would be a big help. |
