Feature While reading a forum, I would like to have a button that causes a window to pop up that is similar to adding a new buy/sell rule, giving access to the full description of stock factors, formulas, etc. Rationale I find it difficult to investigate questions brought up in forums. As it stands now, I have to exit the forum, go to the screener or simulation page, start a new system and then go to the buy rules to look at stock formulas and how to apply them. Then navigate back to where I was in the forum to reply to the question. By the time I've done that I usually have forgotten the exact details of the formula. Sometimes, I open two instances of P123 and keep one instance in a new simulation while reading the forum. This is slightly easier than the first alternative but not a clean solution. It seems to me a popup window would be much easier. Ultimately, the same should apply to ranking systems. I should be able to experiment with ranking system features without having to navigate out of the forums. Try this: Go to the screener and in the reference section double click on a Type, like 'STOCK FACTOR' A pop-up window appears with all the factos in folders. You can collapse folders, search, etc. Is this what you are looking for ? ---------------------------------------- Portfolio123 Staff |
