In my live portfolios, I always modify the transactions to reflect the actual trade shares, price and commission. Today I tried to do this like I usually do: - Rebalance and accept the recommended sale. - Go to the transaction and edit it. In this case, I changed the shares from 1200 to 200 and changed the price and commission. I've been doing this for years with no problems. About 2-3 weeks ago (I think) I started to get a message like this just about every time: "Cannot change CTIB share amount for Sell/Cover transactions. You will need to delete the transaction first." (CTIB is the ticker in this case) The only way around it seems to be to delete the sale transaction and add a manual sale transaction (not through the rebalance screen). What does this message mean and how can I get around it? This is the port I was rebalacing: "MomVal 10-08_4 Focused m1 LIVE". ---------------------------------------- Dan |

I was just about to make a similiar post about this, I too sometimes need to reduce the amount sold, and this used to be possible without an error message. Would it be possible to revert to the original behaviour? |
