Feature Request: Keep track of user preferences Reply to this Post

Please consider improving the user experience by saving preferences rather than employinig systemwide defaults.

For example, I suspect that most of us use a standard set of parameters when creating a new sim. It's a pain having to change the Slippage, Commission, RebalFrequency, PortSize, and other parameters EVERY TIME. Further, the need to make changes is just one more source of errors.

Similarly, when I backtest or create a screen, I have to go through the boxes to make changes ... EVERY TIME.

Similarly, the Realized Transactions page for sims lists the first 50 trades in descending order of total dollar profit. It's a waste of time and of P123 resources to have to change these parameters EVERY TIME, particularly when there may be thousands of transactions.

Admittedly, this is not a huge deal, but adding a button here and there to save settings as user default would be a significant improvement in usability.
