i read the previous posts and don't see where there is a "new" to click on - just started this and really can't seem to follow very well - maybe too sophisticated for me - i would like to set up a portfolio of stocks I already own to follow your guidelines.

Click "Portfolio" on the top menu and "New" is the rightest button on the second level menu.

You can create an empty portfolio by chosing "Manual, Enter Positions Manually" and then enter your owned positions. You need to select a trading system even for a manually created portfolio.
