Just for fun, I thought I'd open up a new thread to give everyone a chance to post a short (preferably one sentence) description of a key lesson or insight that they are taking away from 2008. Yes, there is simply no way to manage a portfolio without MARKET TIMING. Marco: Are we going to see some more market timing tools / indicators any time soon? |

Risk Management using a combination of hedging, equity curve management (yes, I used to be against this...), and market timing; the key is to have a mix of ingredients and make a broth from a bit of all of them. |
