EXCERPT: Historical Screening is a double-barrel feature. It offers exactly what the name suggests, a time machine of sorts that lets you transport your screen back in time and see hat stocks would have passed muster at an earlier date of your choosing. It also offers a quick way to get a sense of how your screen would have performed in the past. It's not as comprehensive as a full-scale backtest. But as you're working, historical screening can give you quick previews of how your screen might test in a more comprehensive context. And it offers an especially easy way to zero in on a specific time period that may be of interest to you. FULL ARTICLE. BY: Marc Gerstein CATEGORY: Step By Step |
