By edit, I mean that the user that is not familiar with this program will not know that he/she should go through the procedure just mentioned. It would be easier if on the last page, after the simulation is run, or a portfolio is selected, there is a button that says "edit parameters".

I think I was able to reproduce what you are talking about. Here's what I think you did:

You run a simulation which will present you with the Summary page (what you refer to as the 'last page') where you see the four sections with the graph, quick stats, top holdings and last 10 transaction. You then clicked on the browsers 'back' button and made some changes, then clicked on 'Go', and your changes are not reflected.

To make this work right now, you have to press the [Re-run Simulation] link below the name of the simulation. I think the source of the confusion is that it does not look like a button, it looks like simple text. I can make it look like a button and that should help somewhat.

I'll also see why using the 'back' button in the browser does not work.

It's now fixed. You can press the back button, make changes and re-run a simulation.
