How to symbolize "average range" Reply to this Post

Marco,

How would you symbolize, in the buy rules section, to buy a stock which has a range (high-low) that is greater than the average range of the past 50 days.

Thanks so much,
Chris

Hi Chris,

our average function currently only uses close price. I am looking into creating an average function that can execute a function or expression for each day in the date range and return the average. You would then be able to enter: (HIGH-LOW) > AVG( (HIGH-LOW), 50 )
It will take a few weeks before we get this one in.

Thanks for your suggestion

Jacques
