PMTR & BHE Reply to this Post

Now that BHE has completed their acquisition of PMTR, will shares of PMTR held in a P123 portfolio automatically be converted into BHE shares or will I need to make a manual change?

You'll need to do manual transactions. We do not handle this type of corporate actions automatically.

Chris,

Shouldn't you sell PMTR when the M&A was announced? Your system recommended buying (and holding) PMRT based on its fundamental data rather than that of the new combined company.

Chris,

In the worst case, if you don't sell it, in due time the ticker PMTR will disappear, then there will be "no price" quoted on PMTR, and at that time P123 will automatically sell it for "lack of price". This is exactly what my sims keep doing, if there are any such stocks in my sims. However, this usually happens only after a considerable delay (i.e. this often takes many months!)

I hope this helps.

Robert

I sold the BHE shares after the transaction was completed. My concern isn't what to do with PMTR in my live account... my concern was transferring the cost basis accurately so the portfolio performance and statistics were accurate.
