Feature Request: A new timing function based upon an index or stocks indicators

I would like to be able to time my buys and sells based upon an index, or a reference stock's technical indicators. For example it would be cool to simulate buying, and selling based upon when SPY crosses the 200day ema. I would use this feature with both long, and short sims.
