As the first line of a screen, FRank("EPS5YCGr%",0,1) < 50 returns sub total 0, while FRank("EPS5YCGr%",0,1) > 50 returns 6794. If my syntax is correct, I think these lines should each select a little less than 3400 stocks. Identical behavior occurs ranking stocks based on EPS3YCGr%, Possibly, this is a data error involving these two variables because FRank of Sales5YCGR% and Sales3YCGR%, and EPS%ChgTTM appear to work correctly. When you try EPS5YCGr%=NA You get 3718 companies that have NA. The ranking assigns the same rank to all the NA's and that ranking is somethin bigger than 50 since that is the last rank before all goes to NA's. This is by design otherwise factors with many NA's like this one would over-penalize NA's when use in ranking systems. Hope that was clear ---------------------------------------- Portfolio123 Staff |
