All, How would I code an entry to pick the 'top 3 stocks' with the 3 highest PEG ratios? Robert |

There are a number of techniques requested as new features to allow P123 sims and portfolios to work based on "top n" stocks by certain ranking system. For now the closest to that functionality is to do sell rule: Rank < x, buy rule Rank >=x, where you need to figure out the x and to have in mind the x will not be applicable in all scenarios - changing market, changing overall database content, additional buy, sell rules. You basically have to adjust the vlaue to one that will yield a regular rotaion of the stocks but will not leave periods when you capital is not used (unless this is what you want as a strategy). My 2c. Vlad ---------------------------------------- Mind is like a parachute - it only works when it is open. |
