Custom Universe Portfolio123 offers several pre-built universes that can be applied prior to ranking. This creates more uniform rank distribution if your focus is a subset of the stocks (for example SP500). These universe are available via the Universe dropdown. Custom universes can be created by applying any of your screens after the Universe selection and prior to ranking. For example you can create screens that: - Select only stocks with at least one analyst - Have a specific fundamental factor value - etc. Any of the fundamental factors/functions can be used to create your custom universe screen (the only exceptions are the Rank functions).
